[QUOTE="dcno07"]Whats the difference between an HDDVD player and a Blueray player as far as price, picture quality, movie selection.. ect. Thanks.FamiBox
Price = HD-DVD cheaper
Picture quality = same (in most cases)
Movie selection = Blueray won.... so......
Actially the 1080p HD DVD players now are pretty poor in quality.

Actually, the cheaper 1080p models are poor in picture quality, but the HD-A30 Has 1080p 24Hz, which I heard on the HD-A30 that it performs well, and much better than 1080p 60Hz. I may replace my xbox 360 HD DVD add on for an HD-A30 (or an A35), since my TV has 1080p 24Hz, (and works with my PS3).

No, just go read some CNET reviews.
comstrike what are you talking about? Do you mean picture quality or build quality? 1080P HD DVD players look just as good as always.BlacKJaCK2290
CNET reviews are quite helpful. ;)
70% of the movie studios back Blu-Ray. Also, I work at Best Buy and I can say that we only pretty much use Blu-Ray for our displays...if that tells you anything.
So yeah, Blu-Ray won.
its a good thing to have competition (as comsumers anyways)kingrich06
Not when some movies are on one format and others are on the other.

Not in this case. Having 2 formats is the worst.
