I'm planning on installing one or two fans on the side of my Storm Scout, however will their LEDs turn off with the button on the front of the case like the others or should I just get fans without LEDs?

Unless you splice the LED wires manually to the switch, they won't turn off. So, you should get fans without LED's.

That statement is retarded. His thread is called LED case fans....case fans....meaning well they plug into the PSU therefore turn off with the rest of the computer.

The one's I've seen, the lights on the fans are powered by the rotation of the fan itself (magnet generator type of thing....), and not the PSU. In that if you spin the fan fast enough, with compressed air or something, and with the fan not connected to anything, the lights still light up.

So to answer your question... the lights turn off when the fans quit spinning. And they quit spinning when the PSU doesn't supply them power anymore.... And the PSU turns off when the case power is off.

Alright... I think you guys might have misunderstood. I have a button on the front of my case that turns off only the case fan LEDs, not the entire fan. It's been a while since I put it together but I believe they're just plugged into my PSU...
