Question about memory timing.

I bought memory in two different sets for my new mobo. One set was able to be set at 1600 and the other at 1333. Can I still set the one set at 1600 and leave the other at default? Or is this mobo dependant?

memory, in a mixed bag, will always run as fast as its slowest stick. so your 1600 stick will only run @ 1333. youd be best having 2 1600 sticks.darksusperia
