My parents have recently brought a new Sony Bravia LCD TV (HD Ready) without telling me and i have a question about it,

Does the the HD ready thing mean i wont be able to play my Xbox 360 in HD, i have tried to to play my Xbox 360 on the HDTV setting and it did not work properly because the colours were mucking up.

Here is the link to the TV: http://www.sony.com.au/homecinema/catalog/product.jsp?categoryId=23775#

Thanks

It's an HDTV, it's suppose to work fine with a 360 in HD whether it's HD Ready or has a built in tuner. If you're using the HD A/V cables with the 360 premium, make sure you're using the blue/red/green cables for video and make sure they're plugged in tight and the setting is on HDTV on the cable. Doing that alone should give you the correct colours. If you have the colours fixed, then make sure you remember to change the resolution to 720p in the 360 settings.

Thanks, i tested my TV today and it worked perfectly, i must of not plugged in the cables in tight the first time i tested the TV. Its a relief to know that i can play my Xbox 360 in HD on my new TV.
