Question about ping in Battlefield 2

When I bring up the server list theres about 10-15 servers that have a ping of zero. I've tried playing in them but the game just seems to stall and then kick me out. Anyone know what they are?

The servers are probably down but still shop up in the server list due to a scripting issue or something along those lines, either that or they are being used for testing of game features.
