hey guys bascially i want to sell 2 games on ebay ( modern warfare 2 and just cause 2) but they have been installed to my steam account. So does this mean even if i uninstall it, and send the buyer the game cd, beucase the game has already been registerd under my steam account, they would need to login to my steam account to play it.

Sorry if its a bit hard to understand what im saying its rather confusing

Thanks

No since adding a game to your steam library is only doing the same thing as a desktop shortcut would, the only difference is when you run it through steam you have access to the steam overlay.

You don't understand what he is asking.

You can't sell your Steam games legally. According to the Steam Terms of Service your not allowed to try and sell your Steam account or share your Steam account with anyone.

If you are found to be doing either of these, Valve reserves the right to disable the account.

Games installed THROUGH Steam, aka purchased through Steam or bought in retail and CD-Key added to Steam, can NOT be removed from the account they are bound to.

Both games use steamworks, so they're tied to your account. Technically you could make a sale of your entire account if those are the only two games tied to it, but that's in violation of the Steam user agreement. The same person would have to buy both games too. And yes, they'd have to log in to your account.
