I was looking at some sites on how to set up a computer and it says you need to ground your self from static electricity??? Is that true

Also i was planning on buying a Thermaltake SpinQ, Would anyone know if it would fit a CoolerMaster HAF 922???

Just touch something metal before handling any of the parts and you're grounded. And I don't know much about the heatsink you're looking at to be honest. I would just stick to the Zalman 9500/9700 if you want a reliable heatsink that fits in most cases.

Like someone else said, make sure your feet are touching the floor, and just touch a metal part of the case before you handle the components. I've built over 100 computers and I've never had a problem with a static discharge.
