Questions about Halo 2 PC

Hey guys, I'm thinking of getting Halo 2 for my PC. However, I have some questions. First, roughly how many people still play online? Second, can I connect to my xbox gamertag and ID. And third, does it cost to play online?

I doubt many if any at play that crap to be honest. There are much better first person shooters on PC and many of them are free.

I played it like a month ago and it's still got some servers going at almost any time of the day (about 2 or 3 servers where its ok to play) I believe you can use that gamertag and the online is free. I wouldn't buy the game for more than like 5 bucks though, it's buggy and overall terrible to play with KB+M.
