I've got a couple of questions because I'm interested in buying a 360. Are there any games that run in full 1080p hd? I thought that the 360 was supposed to do full hd. And I don't just mean upscaled. Or, for that matter games that run in 720p and aren't upscaled. I have a 40 inch hdtv that goes up to 1080p so I'm looking for games that will look great on it. Also, what are the differences between all the different versions of the 360? Aren't there like 4 or 5 of them? I'm not planning on getting XBL, but I want hdmi and plenty of memory so I'm wondering which system would be best for me. Thanks for any and all help!

Both the 360 and PS3 have only a few random 1080p native games. Almost all games are 720p and upscaled at the moment.

If you want HDMI and plenty of memory, then you're looking for an Elite or a "premium" version. The premium version is now just called the Xbox 360, without the name Elite or Arcade. The Elite is black, comes with 120gb hard drive, and hdmi. The "premium" version comes with a 20gb hard drive (good enough if you don't plan on buying movies), and should all come with hdmi now, just check the box. The old premiums didn't have hdmi, so make sure to check the box. The premium's 20gb hard drive is big enough for me to always download new demos and XBL arcade games.

Well that's good to know about the games, thanks.

Do you have to pay for any kind of XBL membership or are there certain one's that let me access features onlinewithout having to pay? And is the internet connection on 360 a wired or wireless one?

XBL Gold membership costs 50$/year. Silver is free but as you can guess: features are cut down.
The differences can be found here: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/memberships/
360 connection is wired, but an additional wireless adapter exists (100$).

Note: The prices mentioned might not be accurate, US is a grey area.

This is a funny link for 1080p support on 360. there are a handful of games with it listed on the box, but it is not native. Only two games have true 1080p support for 360 right now. http://www.makeyougohmm.com/xbox360-1080p-games/ PS3 is almost as a bad, most of the games listed are small (simple graphics) PS games, or games that didn't review all that wall. Full Auto 2 at 1080p???? Awesome! Anyways, 720p is still the sweet spot for this generation, unless you have a massive computer - then you can play at 1920x1200. (joy)
