well i plan on buying this pc http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/HP-Pavilion-Desktop-PC-A6009N/sem/rpsm/oid/178512/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do#tabs  but i got a  few quentions well i was wondering if this pc can run WOW at max settings and also i wanna know what it means by  NVIDIA® GeForceTM 6150 SE graphics with 319MB of video memory-128MB dedicated- well does this mean that as long as i dont use over 128mb then the video card wont use my system ram? or does it mean that it autmotically takes 128mb from my 1gb of ram?  i think the graphics card is integrated but im not sure. the description of the video card just says built in

the graphics card is indeed integrated. as long as the card does not need memory over the 128mb limit it won't use your system ram. but the memory of a graphics card does not dictate its performance. you need to have a card with a decent GPU speed. and the most important rule of thumb is integrated graphics cards are never better than a dedicated one. just a tip.

no offense, but it blows.

That'll never run anything post 2004 at max, even WoW

Buy a real PC, even better make it yourself, it's great opportunity to learn something extremely useful

It just may run WoW... low to medium considering the OS.

Also the OS will be sluggish.. Vista recommends 2GB RAM

BTW that processor kicks mine's butt.. and I have a P4 3.6

And still am able to run STALKER and CoH at max settings.. but with a 8800 GTS :)

He/She will have a PCI-E slot.. but be sure to check out the wattage of the PSU

Hey I belevie I have the same computer that your trying to get. So i far i only played bf2 on it and it ran it on low seetings thanks to the intergrated card. But it did run it. If you get this PC and get a better video card you will be fine. IM not sayign youll have a super PC but you will be able to run games like fear, BF2, ect..... if you update your card. Not a bad PC at all.

CPU is great since its a dual AMD atholon 64 4200+ i beleve. Also vista is more a pain than antthing eles, keep that in mind. It alos takes away form your 1GB. A new power supply and new card, and youll be fine. If you cant get a new PSU you will still be ok. There are some good cards for a 300watt PSU that is if you ahve that.(didnt read it all)

SPECS, AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+2.2ghz , 1gb of ram, Intergrated 6150SE, Vista,
