Hello community. I would just like to know whether my PC would benefit more (in gaming) with having 4Gb of 1333MHz RAM or 6Gb of 800MHz.. I also think it would degrade it to DDR2 if I add the extra 2Gb of the 800Mhz RAM. I'm not too sure, so I come to you guys for help. Thank you or your time.

4GB ram is plenty. I see no need to go over unless your video editing/ Running ALOT of things at once.

The only way it would be better with 6gb is if you had an i7 which runs better with tri channel than dual channel but since your asking about DDR2 then you are fine. Also to get the most out of 4gb you'll need a 64bit OS otherwise your only going to get 3-3.5gb of it about.

Go for 3GB+ only if you got a 64bit OS.
