Far cry 2..I clearly remember the ad saying "destructable enviroment", "better graphic than crysis", "120 hours of awesome singeplayer game experience.", and It got me hyped and i eneded up pre ordering. man, this game still sells for 9.99 on steam and i want to stop anyone who is willing to buy it. it simply is not worth it.

anybody agree? why? Well, just look at the screen shots put out by Ubisoft. The game looks nothing like that, especially the PC version which actually has worse graphics then the 360 version. If you ask me, Splinter Cell Chaos theory on PC looks better then the PC version of Double Agent. Also some of the CG cutscenes that were advertized are not in the game. They are in the last gen console versions for the X-box and PS2.[QUOTE="JangoWuzHere"]

.
The game is just a big lousy port from the 360 version. The controls are terrible, awful graphics, and tons of annoying bugs including a game breaking one at the end. Just overall a really bad game which is ever worse by lousy porting.
I gotta agree on far cry 2. The big open world was advertised to be a revolution in sandbox games and the way they showcased the videos I had these playbacks in my mind where I could crawl through the grass, from a huge long distance and efficently scoping out all my enemies before I make my true attack with a planned series of attacks (like using fire to my advantage, destroy supplies etc..) Instead I got a mediocre action game with decent gunplay but horrible AI, respawn placement and health system, with a inconsitent world that has no initiative to explore. The graphics were the only thing going for it and the fires were limited from what was promised and there was little to no destruction in the game. So much promised, with all of it being a letdown or not even existent in the final game.

i remember when they wrote "plan your attack" . what "plan" do they mean? i just experience some kind of sporadic and fleeing way before and after we kill the target.. monoton gameplay, and sword battle was totally suck
i agree. and the controls on the PC version of AWFUL.[QUOTE="al-fatahy"][QUOTE="paullywog"]assassin's creed.savetehhaloz

i agree. and the controls on the PC version of AWFUL. I actually found the controls very good, but the game was very repetitive. and like what was previously said, You don't really get to plan your attack most of the time.Far cry 2..I clearly remember the ad saying "destructable enviroment", "better graphic than crysis", "120 hours of awesome singeplayer game experience.", and It got me hyped and i eneded up pre ordering. man, this game still sells for 9.99 on steam and i want to stop anyone who is willing to buy it. it simply is not worth it.

120 hours is way too long for a FPS. That is not a pro imo..
