i cant see the gtx having that many shaders, the GX2 is only expected to have 256, that being 128 per core.

the ttx will be a new core (not a g92 core like the gx2) but i cant see them having tripple the shaders of the g92 core.

If it's not "official", how can you say it's "real"? Thanks anyway! ;)

Nvidia has said nothing whatsoever about the Gx2. It is pure speculation. Just like the specs in this thread. None of them is better than the other.

Yes, and I'll wait until they slap a quad-core on the next brand of Nvidia's line setup.

IMO. It doesn't look that impressive. Hopefully the price range is below $400 for this.

If it does have 384 shaders thats triple the shader processing of an 8800GTX...

And SearchMaster, wth are you talking about. The 9800GX2 will be 30% FASTER than a single 8800 ultra... That means if an ultra gets 30 FPS in crysis, the 9800GX2 gets 40.

And who is going to buy such a mammoth? It's almost a foot long! You'd have to have a full tower just to house that thing and from my experience most PC gamers use mid-towers. BTW the 3870x2 will be the better buy as it's smaller then even a 8800 GTX but packs the punch of 2 3870's. Did I mention it'll be cheaper, cooler, use less power, and be about as fast as a 9800GX2?
