GEIL OR CORSAIR VALUE what's best?

I would have to say niether really. Crucial has an amazing build to it. And very cost effective.

Give us the stats, need to see latency and voltage...but if they're the same in both categories then check your motherboards website for compatability. They're both mainstream providers, so I don't think you'll go wrong with either.

Both companies are good for RAM, are there specific modules you were looking at? If so, what?

Generally the value sereies in corsairs dont have a heatspreader and not be good for overclocking. Giel on the other hand do provide heatspreaders (I dont know if any of there ram dont have it).

I want 3 gb on my computer.

The thing is shall I go for the famous geil 3 gb or build 2 gb on the corsiar value?

Eventhough can my computer take geil?

Its really up to you, doesnt matter what kind of ram you get, but since you got a corsair value ram to start with, I would stick with gettin another 2 GB of corsair value ram pc2-5300 (667 mhz). You may also end up saving more money than if you bought geil.
