[QUOTE="Wesker776"][QUOTE="gtarmanrob"][QUOTE="LouieV13"]What CPU do you have? I have two 512mb versions btw lolLouieV13
i've only got an E6420, but its overclocked to 3.6ghz on water. does let the 3dmark score down compared to using a quad core for benching. but i've been happy with the results. most are in, ill start a new thread with a review of how it went. btw i hear that 2x512mbs crossfire is awesome. the bloke that sold me the vid card is getting just over 16,000 with his, but he has a q6600 @ 3.4ghz.
and as for how much it costed, i paid $600.00 AUD for it. expensive, yes. butwho cares? the card does a very nice job.
Only $600 AUD!?
Damn that's cheap!
Its like 560 I think in USD is 600AU alot im guessing?LOL, to give you a general idea of prices here:
- GPUs:
8800 GTS 320MB: $350-400
8800 GTS 640MB: $500-650
8800 GTX: $700-1100
8800 ULTRA: $1000-1400
HD 2900 XT 512MB: $500-600
Most other components (CPUs, PSUs and cases) are roughly 50% more expensive (absolute terms) than their US counterparts.
Nah i wouldnt say a lot for this type of card. Just expensive given that it doesnt really OUTPERFORM the competition. you can get a HD 2900 512mb for about $545.00 AUD (shipped) and its not that far behind this thing. biggest reason i bought it is the overclocking potential.
now, people, HELP! lol im a noob at posting pics in a thread. when you go to upload the images, it asks fora URL for where the picture is.. i dont have a website or anythin, they're just on my hard drive? how the **** should i upload them? do i need to create a picture album in my gamespot profile first? i've done some basic benchmarking, and i've got screens.
