I have never played multi player or on the Internet. I love Rage and have played it for 185 hours. If I was to get someone in my house to play multi player with me do I have to buy another copy of RAGE or whatever game. Can I play over the Internet. So if I have a friend in another state I could buy them a copy of Rage and could I then play with them over the Internet. I'm an old man and played games on and off since pong. I don't know crap about playing with another person. Any help would be nice.

Yes, you would need another copy for anyone else you want to play with as you can't log into your Steam account from two different computers at once. I believe the game doesn't support LAN so I guess if you want to play with someone else in the house you'll want to get on one of them Private Matches over the Internet.

you'd probably enjoy the co-op more than the multiplayer which is vehicles. Just jump on and see if anybody is playing.

yeah "legends of the wasteland" is co-op, mostly returns to the same levels you already played in single player.

It's actually kind of fun, just pure combat (which is where RAGE excels anyways). I think Id could have done a decent multiplayer, but in an era where we get giant games like Call of Duty, Battlefield, Counter Strike and Red Orchestra pulling all the stops, it would have meant a less impressive campaign if they wanted to make any sort of amazing multiplayer experience.
