Rage vs Borderland 2

I have Rage and have been playing it for months and I took a good look at Borderland 2 trailers and Rage seems to have a lot better graphics. I don't have Borderland 2 so does anyone have any comment on this?

The major thing is that Rage uses megatextures which means all environmental textures are unique, nothing is repeated. However because of this, the texture quality itself is extremely poor. Borderlands 2 uses traditional texturing methods, and are significantly higher quality, but many are repeated.

To me both games are great. Borderlands 2 has a Cell Shaded graphics while Rage has the more traditional realistic feel. For me Borderlands 2 and 1 offer a whole lot of content than Rage because of their so called Bazillion guns feature. Rage has better vehicle combat than Borderlands. The other difference would be the multiplayer since Borderlands offers party combat while Rage offers only Racing priviledges.

Borderlands 2 is a thousend times better game.

Borderlands 2 is wayyy better in almost every aspect than RAGE. You should definitely give it a go, i've been playing it a ton recently and can't get enough of it.

I havent played RAGE.

But Borderlands 2 is repetitive and has weaksauce gunplay and RPG elements. But it is moderately fun when playing with friends.
