+1, if you care about your data then raid 1, if you only wish for speed and your data is backed up by cloud or external HDD then raid 0.
Durability? there's no difference, raid type such 0 doesn't affect if the HDD/SSD will die sooner or not.

+1, if you care about your data then raid 1, if you only wish for speed and your data is backed up by cloud or external HDD then raid 0.

Raid 1 gives the same read speed as Raid 0. Writing speed is slower though. Only as fast as the slowest HDD in Raid 1.
Ops, I mean safety, sorry. As some say that Raid 0 give more speed but other side greater file damage risk than non-raid HDD. Is it true?
For safety (backup) RAID 1 is your answer but you don't really need to set up your hard drives as RAID, just have a good backup system.

RAID 1 is like a real time backup, but it's not the safest backup option either.
A second backup OUTSIDE of the PC is better (either onsite, offiste or cloud).
