Don't get me wrong UT games are great if you like bouncing of walls and run and gun twitchy luck shots. Sci Fi twitch shooters are not my cup of tea...i'll leave them to fatal1ty. I'm sure when UT3 is released the kids will be out in full force filling up the servers. I'll be playing CoD4 at least with infinity ward you get a great SP and MP experience. Only so many aliens and robots a guy can handle in games lol.AngelB1ack
No see, in UT, you have hit points. In Call of Duty, you don't. I've been playing the Call of Duty series for years waiting for something better to come out. Infinity Ward heavily displeased me with CoD 2 when it came out, and CoD 4 will be no different. It still looks like a run-gun sprayfest like in the first one. If it's going to be a run-and-gun game, then you shouldn't be able to kill someone in one or two hits every time you want.
Except in CoD 4, you can now shoot through walls! They had a name for that once...I think it was called a wall hack. But they figured...hey! Lets make it apart of the game now! Who knows, CoD 4 isn't finished. It may still kick ass, or it may not. I'm just judging it based on what I've seen of the videos. It looks like CoD 2, just pimped up graphics and it's modern warefare now.
In my personal experience, I've seen more kids on Halo 2 and games like Call of Duty (especially on CoD. There are one too many servers that won't let you use language because there are younger kids that play) than I have on Unreal Tournament 2004. I'm not totally ruling out CoD-type games, I just don't want to see people running around on a map spraying to their hearts content and getting first place easily. That, is clearly not a game that takes skill.
