I have 2*2 gig sticks of corsair ram rated for 1600 mhz but I have a problem. In BIOS, the ram was set to 1333 mhz. This wasn't a problem because I figured I wouldn't notice the difference between that and 1600 anyway, but when I run 3dmark 11, it says my ram is only 667mhz... I overclocked a bit and now BIOS says my ram is at 1440mhz, but 3dmark and AMD overdrive both say it's only at 700 something mhz. Is there a multiplier in effect and this is actually the correct frequency, or is my ram somehow underperforming? Thanks in advance.

You should just set it to the rated speed in your bios anyways.

My memory is 1600mhz as well, but it defaulted to 1066. It just took tweaking a few settings to get it up to speed.

Ok, cool. Thanks a lot. I figured it was just a matter of multipliers but I wanted to be sure. Thanks again!
