I'm not completly sure if this is a problem. But my pc gauge says that my ram is always at like around 21 percent, from the moment i turn it on it never really goes anylower, is this bad, but it also never gets higher than around 29 percent.

Not bad, you just have a lot of programs running in the background. Disable a few and you will be all g

First, How much ram you got?

Second, what OS you running?

Third, 21 percent of your ram being used up isn't bad as long as you still have enough left over to play games. Most demading games like Crysis take anywere from 1 to 2 gigs of ram.

EDIT: Most of the ram you see being used at idle is the OS running and nessesary system programs

Memory usage level at 29% is okay since only fewer program are running in the background. If you see that the memory usage exceeds 70% of more even you didn't open any such programs, you will need a memory optimizer to defrag and freee up the memory to balanced level like Free RAM XP Pro. It works great but sometimes setting the RAM free level too high can cause the the PC will lag for a while.

Ok, thanks all :) by the way RAM= 8 GB OS: 64-bit Vista Premieum 385 GB left all together out of like 598...
