I got 2 sticks of ram (KVR800D2N5/1G 1GBPC2-6400), that's Kingston, and when I checked the Mhz in CPU Z, it says 400Mhz. Shouldn't that be 800Mhz?

Dual channel memory rated at 800MHz comes up with an effective clock of that speed when correctly installed in dual channel mode on the motherboard. Each separate stick runs at ~400MHz. Any other questions?

CPU-Z shows the actual speed of the RAM, which is 400mhz. However the speed is doubled because it is DDR (double data rate) memory, effectively running at 800mhz, so what your seeing is correct.

Very clear guys. I'm glad I have nothing to worry about my rams. Thanks a lot.
