RAM question ( OS )

Hey. i have a problem.

I have Vista-32 Bit Home Premium and i installed 4G of ram. But my Vista tells me i only have 2G ram..

What's the problem?? Is it my OS?

Specs:

Intel Core DUO Cpu

E6750 @ 2.66

OS: Vista 32 Bit Home Premium

You have 32bit vista. 32bit can only address 4GB of total system RAM, that includes RAM that your graphics card has to. You will have to install 64bit vista to use up all the RAM.

You should still see more than 2 GB. Does the BIOS correctly recognizes the 4 GB?
