Hi just out of interest I was wondering what sort of ram usage is good for gaming...i.e 350 megabytes of ram in use...etc and whether or not I should make it lower...

Sorry forgot to add that. Overall its one gigabyte of ram so usually without important programs running its about 370 megabytes taken up....Is that any good?

If thats during boot up, thats not too bad (about 37% memory usage). Depending on the rest of your computer specifications, I would beef up the RAM to 2GB's if you play a few computer games for better performance.

Yeah was thinking about that actually, but I am not sure if it would make much of a difference, could well do though. Again thanks for the advice its appreciated mate. :)

1gb is enuogh as long as you're just using up 370mb of that before games. As long as you're not trying to play Crysis which takes up a good 700+mb and a full gig with very high settings, you'll be alright. You'll definitely want to upgrade to 2gb in the near future though.

Nah I think i'll pass on Crysis lol although it was a though on low settings but even then my ram would be upgraded to 2 gigs for an attempt on low settings :P
