Very nice build, but the GPU's are already aging some. I would recommend a 9800 series Nv or a 4000 series ATi

The GPUs are already pretty dated and so is the QX6700. For what you spent on 4 gigs of DDR3 1600 you could've instead gotten a Q9450, and probably SLI 9800gtx's or crossfire hd4850s.

I dunno about that mobo you could have saved some dough and bought a 750iftw or do you really need tri sli?

same with the ddr3 memory, you should have gone with ddr2 saved even more money and could have gotten a Q9450 or Q9550 when prices drop.

Wouldnt go that low but a 7.5 out of ten because you spent too much on the 790 and ddr3. You could have bought ddr2 and 2 GTX260's for like $450 off newegg.

Some people are funny. Just because there is newer stuff out, doesnt make the older stuff "dated". 2 8800GT's will handle most everything with ease. Wpend a s**t load more money for a few frames a second... I hate this gen SLI boards though so..

what hard drive are you using with that? and isn't a 9800 better than two 8800gt's? you are wasting a lot of extra electricity having two older cards instead of the newer one that uses less power.

one 8800gt is pretty much a 9800gt in terms of performance. So it's a good rig.

Value wise a 6/10 since the 790i is pricy and not needed. You blew alot of money on the motherboard thats being replaced this year by LGA 1366 and you could of waited and gotten a TRUE quad core processor in october for about the same price....

In relation to playing games (current and coming out within the year) I'd give it a 9/10. In terms of value, most bang for your buck, I'd give it an 8.

You know that it is a nice rig, and you just want to hear it from everyone...I say 8.5 and don't get a 9 series card I had to get rid of mine. 2 gx2
