I would reccomend the evga 680i motherboard, and use the paste that comes iwth the heatsink its better than artic silver 5. Why not get the 9700 heatsink? Its bigger and better, or the tuniq tower 120. Oh and Im bored enuf ot read it X-D, and the paste that comes with the heatsink is zm-stg1 it was compared and beat artic silver 5.

64 bit windows vista?  arent most people staying away from that.  I hear 64 bit is compatable with nothing.  but if it is a wishlist they should have sp1 out by then. are you actually going to buy that or you just teasing people?  i give it a 8/10, case could be better (i wanna see led lights), and do you really need an sli motherboard when you have just one video card?

actually I do plan to buy it in a few months, I only need like about $450 more. (only). But yeah I wasn't sure about the 64 bit deal the only reason I thought it would be good is because I thought it allows you to support more than 3gb of memory. Hopefully though you're right that a service pack will come out in a few months.

is the original p180 one of the cases where the 8800's had a hard time fitting if you used the hard drive cages?

would it be better in black? :P
That case is supposedly an amazing performer and I'm not really into the flashing led's and side window panels that are so popular right now.

- Drop the 650i board, the P965 chipset is superior in overclocking and heat dissipation. - Try and save up for the retail version of Vista or stick with XP Pro w/ SP2. - Drop the cooler to either a Tuniq Tower 120, or stick with the stock cooler if don't plan to overclock massively (which you don't need to, as the E6600 is powerful enough as is on stock speeds). - Last but not least, shoot for 2GB Patriot DDR2-800 memory. Looking good.

Yeah, the black looks nice. I agree, I'm not a big fan of the whole lights blinking and see through sides. Seems like every ones rocking those now-a-days.

Reading around at xtremesystems.org, it seems the 650i p5n-e is able to hit 500fsb without too much issue. that sounds like decent overclocking for $140 if you ask me. :)
