@stathis90: Sweet. If you're gonna be playing at 1080p GTX 970 will do just fine, for higher res, well I'd say get 970 anyway and wait for 14/16nm models to upgrade it, they are expected to be released this year.

Really nice build, PSU is overpowered for that system and even for SLI, 16Gb RAM is a waste right now you can always upgrade later if needed.

As far as I see you could change SSD to Corsair as well for complete Corsair build as much as you can :P

@PredatorRules: Thanks for your advice! Can you propose a good alternative psu while excluding the cx series?

EVGA right now shines with their warranty, the platinium HX you've chosen is 7 years which is a lot as well

@stathis90: 2/5

Things I would change, but this is just me.

Case/CPU/PSU

Case: It's 2016 not 1990, you don't need a giant box on your desk for a computer, go with a smaller form factor.

Something like the Corsair Graphite Series CC-9011065-WW will house everything you have.

CPU: For the CPU I would go with the 5820k OC to 4.5ghz.

PSU: I wouldn't pay the extra cost for full modular and platinum, simply isn't worth, half modular is worth getting tho.

If you have a micro center around you get your CPU/Mobo there.

If not going SLI, I'd recommend this board with the 5820k, was easily able to hit 4.5ghz with it, that's six cores at 4.5ghz :) .

@zaku101: Thank you for your comments! I am considering changing the PSU and the case (i want a white build and the case you send me comes in white) for the cpu I'll stay with the 6600K I don't want the pc for streaming and editing I use my other pc for this kind of things and the price difference in my country is more than 250usd! Thanks again! :)

@stathis90: Make sure to change the motherboard if you're going with that case, I also wouldn't recommend going SLI/Crossfire if you were thinking about it, simply isn't worth... I also have a GTX 970 in mine if you're wondering if it'll fit: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming.

Good looking build. What's the reason for such a pricey RAM?

@hrt_rulz01: ok then! The new processors and gpu will be compatible with current motherboards with 1151 sockets so you can upgrade your cpu and gpu with the new ones later without changing other components! But its your choice!

I give it an 7/10. 2 point deducted because your chosen behemoth case which gives me flashbacks of 2005 btw. 1 point deducted for your PSU and I almost deducted a point for an i5 instead of i7 because I always go high end or nothing but figured that wasn't very fair judgement.

@stathis90: perhaps cut some money off the RAM and try and squeeze an i7 with your budget. Pay off in the long run.

@yakky: Thanks for the comment! I have already bought the ram but i don't believe the price difference in my country for the i7 is worth it.

@stathis90: wait/10 Unless you need it NOW you might wanna wait a few months for the GTX 1,000 series.

PSU could safely be lowered to 550W with those specs. On the other hand, having a PSU with more juice might mean it will last another few years..

Their updated lines of G2, P2 and T2 are really great. If you are sound sensitive then do not purchase G2 models 1000W and above though...
