This will be my first build so I am desperate for some feedback from you as to weather this PC will even work. Feel free to suggest some improvements.

Case - Antec 900

PSU - Antec NeoPower 650

Motherboard - Asus P5N-D nForce 750i Sli

CPU - Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450

Graphics card - EN8800GT TOP/G/HTDP/512M

RAM - OCZ PC2-8500 Reaper HPC 4Gb

Sound Card - Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme

Hard Drive - Western Digital VelociRaptor 300Gb

Optical Drive - Pioneer DVR-212BK

Don't forget an extra 120mm case fan for the side panel on the case. Just nab one of the Antec led blue ones to match the ones that come stock with the case.

Also I'd consider a Silverstone LCD for one of your 5.25 bays. The fans that come with the Antec case have special switches rather than being variable speeds so they can't be hooked to it as a fan controller, but it also functions as a clock and temperature readout with heat alarm.

Why not get the new HD4850 for $199 its on par with a 9800GTX?

I would take a look at this case, better cooling and cable management:

P.S. Since this is your first build, you should note the your RAM requires a voltage of 2.1v - 2.3v. I don't know off the top of my head, but I suspect you will have set the voltage in your BIOS....I doubt that's your MB default setting. Cheers
