Configuration:-

intel core2quad 2.4 ghz

2gb DDR2 ram

SPARKLE nvidia 9600gt 512mb

gigabyte motherboard(latest,forgotten the model no)

windows XP sp2

250gb hard disk

What do u think about this config??will it handle games releasing after 2 years or more??adding another 2gb ram will boost performance more or wat???thx !

You are running XP and I think the max amount of RAM it can utilize is 2gb. From the benchmarks and reviews I have read the 9600gt can run crysis on high decently at medium resolutions. I was thinking about buying a 9600gt but the 9800gt is only like 25 bucks more and is more future proof. What do you mean by "handle" games? Do you mean play them or play them maxed?

You can use 3Gb RAM on 32bit Windows OS and more on 64bit, that's nothing to do with being Vista or XP.
