[QUOTE="Runningflame570"]Looks good although that GameXStream has some issues at load.lettuceman44what kind of issues?
A ripple once you get past 400w or so, though that system won't be getting close to that.
If you want to save $20 buy a Corsair HX520w or if you can spend $10 more then the OCZ buy the HX620w.
Or if you want the OCZ GameXstream 700w get it a bit cheaper at ZZF.
it should. I didnt read anywhere that they are notlettuceman44sorry, spoke too soon, I thought that mobo had aP965 chipset

what do you mean by a ripple? Is the Corsair 520W enough? Or should I still go with the OCZ. I would get the 620W, but I don' think I can order before the rebate ends.
I would probably downgrade the power supply a 550 should run everything your getting then use the difference to upgrade the CPU. Next gen video cards are supposed to have a new connector that will make your power supply obsolete anyway. pcdebol
Not really, Corsair will send you an 8pin pci-e connector all you have to do is contact CS and pay the shipping. Anyways, no midrange to low highend GPU is going to need an 8pin pci-e connector if you have a PCI-e 2.0 mobo.

An 8800GTX only requires a 450 watt PS so if the guy could save 40 dollars on the Power supply and get a better processor his machine will perform better. The next gen graphics cards could obsolete all kinds of power supplys and a CPU would help his performance more than anything else he could afford to upgrade. So the next time he upgrades he will probably have to repalce the power supply again anyway why waste the money for overkill now when you could use the money for performance that will be seen . A core 2 6600 is only 40 dollars more. 300 mhz faster.
You will have to go to nvidias web site if you don't beleive me the link is to long to post. Just go to support and search power requirements. An 8800GTX only requires a 450 watt PS so if the guy could save 40 dollars on the Power supply and get a better processor his machine will perform better. Do you have any idea what I just said?
And no, future GPUs will not make current PSUs obsolete, as long as they can run today's highend.
The G80 and R600 are going to be the largest and the most power hungry GPUs in the foreseeable future...

oo, I got to check that out then.Your memory isn't on the supported list. http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/FileList/MemorySupport/motherboard_memory_ga-p35-ds3r.pdf
I'd get the Corsair 620 watt P.S.U. as I love mine. Nice build if your R.A.M. works with that mobo.

Hmm, I still don't know if I should get the GamerXtreme or the Corsair 520W
