Well I've been I've been using my Razer Deathadder for over 3 years and it's still going strong. I would say the "wears out in 3 months" statement is a bit of an exxageration.

I purchased a Razer Diamondback and used it for over 3 years. Of those 3 years, I played World of Warcraft for 1 year... so you could imagine the wear and tear I gave it. It did it's job for what I paid for it and it's one heck of a mouse. I now use a fairly new Razer Copperhead. I had issues with it disconnecting and connecting but I learned that you just had to turn on OS PnP in the BIOS. That fixed it for me. Always good to research it... and look for issues that other users have run into. Then decide if it'll be worth it for you.

I have an abyssus myself...Dude the material from what its made(the plastic)its low quality...it really is...I tend to get annoyed in some games and when that happens i have a stupid reflex of raising my right hand up and smashing down the mouse...nothing brutal, just like you would of give someone a friendly smack over the head...Now the very first time i did that with the Abyssus...it broke :D...not the whole mouse but just the plastic foot under the left button...in order to work i have replaced that plastic foot and glued some parts of a tooth pick there...now iam so gentle with it...its like iam afraid not to implode or something :D

Basically what you are saying is, " It's cheap because when I got angry and slammed it on my desk it broke." lol

Depends on your personal preference. There is absolutely no objective way of rating mice. I tried out the Abyssus in store and found it the most comfortable out of all the modern gaming mice however i would prefer more buttons. Also note that i use the finger tip grip and how comfortable you find a mouse is based on both the grip you use and the structure of your hand.

Some of the older Razer mice had problems with the cable disconnecting inside the mouse, though i've never had the problem with my Copperhead with which the problem was most common. I think the issue has gone away with the more modern mice.

Its more sensitive, accurate, and better looking than a standard mice. Im into fastpace shooters like cod and tf2, so I would die if I cant crank up and down the sensitivity.
