Hey

I'm not a Dell fan, but was impressed by and bought their XPS 1710 gaming laptop. It's starting to age (I use it to edit video as well as game) and even the newer 1730 has been out a while. Has anyone heard when their next rig might roll out?

I'm googling and looking around, but if anyone has any advice on a real kickbutt new gaming laptop on the market I'd really appreciate any info.

thanks!!

Well, that really depends a lot on your budget. If you're only looking to spend in the $1500 or less range, then your best bet will certainly be to go with a Dell. Otherwise, some boutique PC manufacturers are starting to get into making gaming laptops, many of which are nearly as powerful as a good desktop machine.
