Now just remember, this is my first time doing this, so just think about that before you tear into me about something stupid, like something isn't compatible with something else, thats why I am asking here first to get some quality input.

you dont need a network card with your 750i SLI. also get evga's 750i sli over ASUS IMO, more popular company, step up program...

its 30 dollars more but its their "FTW" with a few tweaks especially to cooling ( bttr heatsink) trust me i have the 780i sli and theyre going to make the FTW of that soon.. it runs a bit hot

HD - barracuda is good, WD caviar SE16 is also good.

EDIT : while your at it get the EVGA 9600

Also, how much of a difference would I notice going with dual EVGA 9600's vs. just the one. Granted I am not a hardcore pc gamer, but the games I play I like them to be as good as they can be for the most part. But how BIG of a difference would it be, taking into account the $220 price tag...smmcinto

dont get two 9600's for 220 each, get a 9800gtx for 300$, more than the performance of two two 9600's and less cost, also if you ever want to down the line, get another 9800gtx and SLI them both.

dont get two 9600's for 220 each, get a 9800gtx for 300$, more than the performance of two two 9600's and less cost, also if you ever want to down the line, get another 9800gtx and SLI them both.

Do some research before you give out wrong information. You can get a superclocked 9600GT for $150 and put two in SLI and it will beat the hell out of one 9800GTX. Don't get the gargage 9800GTX that is just a 8800GTS in disguise.

Lol, yeah Nvidia is making it really confusing with the new naming systemd for new people. Apperently, theres a Galaxy 9600 GSO that's secretly an 8800 GTS g92 now too, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
