Recettear 2?

I just finished this game and was a little disappointed by the ending. The story wasn't great, but the characters are well developed well. I feel like the story was waaay to short for all the stuff they put in it. If they were to ever make a sequel they shoud make the game about 12-15 hours long instead of 6 hours.

Anyone else hope they make a sequel?

COuple months agi I would syay that its not likely, but english version sold more in a month than japanese one did in two years, bringing a huge revenue to the original developer, so they might consider sequel now. I'm sure we'll see translation of their other RPGs first though.

how in the world did you finish it in 6 hours?! i was about 6 hours in until about half an hour ago when i missed my third payment by a barely mentionable amount and that was it, game over. i'll reload my last save game tomorrow but till that moment the game was still steadily throwing new concepts and possibilities at me, introducing new characters, judging by the small map there are sure to be way more dungeons and i could tell there were upgrades not even available yet so unless there is a very very abrupt ending there is no way i could have even been halfway there..

anyway, i am not really against sequels but know by now that they are almost certain to disappoint. thus i would never hope for one. especially in cases like this where if you ask me the freshness, sense of humour and originality are what makes it unique so i would much rather just enjoy that for what it is as to get more and have it turn stale on me.

with a name like that who wants the 1st game lololol
