A scifi game that is sort of an "under the radar" type game. Oh, and it should preferably take place in space, I love space. I've already played all the mass effects, dead space, sins of a solar empire, the KOTOR games, jedi knight series....

Star Wars: Empire at War
Star Wars: Battlefront 2
Shattered Horizon
Section 8
Space Siege (NOTE: low score on Gamespot)
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
+1 One of the best space sim games out there. Too bad Freelancer 2 was scrapped....I suppose it doesn't matter too much since there are a lot of mods for this game out there. Heck, you might even find people still playing multiplayer.Freelancer

No mention of Freespace 2? I'm shocked.

that game is what i would think to be the perfect choice.
A game I had on one of my recent Polls, Wing Commander Prophecy, is another choice, but it may be a tad too old to set up well on modern systems.
I adored the Wing Commander seriesA scifi game that is sort of an "under the radar" type game. Oh, and it should preferably take place in space, I love space. I've already played all the mass effects, dead space, sins of a solar empire, the KOTOR games, jedi knight series....

Galactic Civilizations II and all expansions...more of a TBS game, but it's excellent and has a great space sci-fi based theme. I would also recommend the sc-fi shooter...AREA 51. I found this to be really enjoyable and lots of fun.

I never had a problem with it...and I was running it (5 years ago) on a Athlon 64 3000+, 1GB ram and a ATi 9800Pro 256mb. Also never encountered and bug problems with either.....sorry you had bad luck with it......it was still a really enjoyable game that didn't get much pup.

Freespace 2 was pretty epic. Dark Horizon is a newer space flight sim. The controls aren't as complex, but the story is good. And Star Wars: Republic Commando (Great FPS) and Battle Engine Aquila (AWESOME at about 150") are two more that I haven't seen listed yet...No mention of Freespace 2? I'm shocked.
