Could we get your PC specs? ''Good PC'' doesn't tell much. As far as we know, it could have a horrible integrated graphics chip that can't run any of the newer games.

Yeah I got a "good PC" or so the people at Circuit City said. It turns out if I wanted to do any kind of gaming on it I would have to swap out basically every part on it.

Actually you guys should check out the Gateway laptop selling for $1200 at Bestbuy... It has amazing specs for the price.. 17inch screen, core2duo, 3gb ddr2 ram, and 8800 GTS 512mb... I would expect seeing a setup like that for laptop selling high teens to the 2000+ range.

OMG I didn't even know that they had a "NVIDIA GeForce Go 8800 GTS" for laptops! I thought the 8600 was the best out right now :o

Man I'd be soooo tempted to buy this except for one thing: the processor

I mean, 1.67GHz? With an 8800GTS? That's pretty imba if you ask me lol

It said something about a Centrino "enchanced with interrelated intel C2D T5450." What exactly does this mean?

Not sure but I have read user reviews, every one who has said they have played recent games on it have said it runs wonderfully. Many reviewers said they bought a processor upgrade for it as well.. They said thats the only minus is the processor is alittle slow.

Supreme Commander, World in Conflict, Company of Heroes, Command & Conquer 3, Sins of a Solar Empire, Gothic 3, Neverwinter Nights 2, The Witcher, STALKER, Crysis, Galactic Civilizations 2, Civilization IV, Heroes of Might and Magic V, Lord of the Rings Online, Sam & Max: Season One, GTR2, Medieval 2 Total War and dozens more.

Many multiplatform games like Oblivion are really worth replaying with mods. Many old Elder Scrolls fans couldn't even stand Oblivion without mods.

just dont start with crysis and the orange box, leave the best for last ;D

CoD4 is also really good but really short, playing short games at first could be a good ideia...

one more thought, if you like to laugh while u play get sam & max, any episode will do, it wont make any use of ur computer but im having alot of fun with it...

For the whole thing it was roughly 3200 euro. Im not sure what that is in dollars. Maybe about 4500 or a bit more. I decided to go for a high end PC so it would last me for a long time. Well hopefully it does because i won't be able to afford to upgrade for a good while

consider getting crysis, call of duty 4, orange box, unreal tournament 3, bioshock, supreme commander, company of heroes, overlord, rainbow six vegas. sins of the solar empire, battlefield 2142

there is a sticky thread of guy who have virutally all the games coming for pc later this year. there are plenty of games on the list that you could would want to consider when they come out.
