Recommendations for Space/Sci-fi rpgs?

Hello everyone, I'm interested in trying to find some recommendations for Sci-fi/ Space rpgs. Something with space travel specifically. Vast open worlds, etc etc.

Just as a heads up, I've played the Mass Effect titles and enjoyed those, I didn't really like Dead Space, and I'm not interested in RTS or Spacecraft etc.I'm looking for something a little more recent as well, 2005+, let me know what you have in mind.

Fallout 3 is a Amazing RPG that i would definatly look into.

It has space travel, tons of worlds and stuff and rpg elements.

Fallout 3, EVE Online, Space Siege, Star Wars KOTOR 1 & 2, Hellgate London, and on oldie from 2003, Deus ex 2, those are my recommenadtions

Yep, KOTOR 1 and 2 are great games.

But if your looking for more space combat/travel I'd suggest Freelancer.

x-com is a very good sci-fi game another i NEED to recommend (or smite me down) is kotor 1 & 2finally you may get a kick or two out of is worldshift but its a very hard game to get into

Ya the Fallout series is one of my favs of all time, but not exactly what Im looking for at the moment. I will look into the others, I'm trying KOTOR 1 right now... I'm not a huge fan of the combat at the moment, but will keep going on it.
