How can something that never existed be "canned" ? The developers right from the launch of RDR stated they had no plans for a PC version.

Erm no just no, what you meant to say was "Figures Rockstar is a console centric company and does not have the ability to produce PC games now a days". Rockstar has never had a massive commitment to the PC platform, why should they ? After all no one on the PC is going to chuck a couple of million their way to make their products exclusive for 12 months to a particular platform.

Okay everybody what I guess I meant't to say is that when I googled red dead redemption pc it said it got canned not that it never existed and that I think that most developers don't really care about the Pc and I know that there are infact some that do but I was just talking about a few.

We really need a face palm emoticon for this board. Let me see if I have this straight, some guy on "answers.yahoo" links to some guys twitter that says "they MAY be porting the game". That then becomes "hey the PC is getting it March 2011". Now a quick maths lessons says that is less than 3 months away and they haven't even ANNOUNCED they are doing the game yet and you think it is coming out in 3 months.

RDR on PC with tons of mods.... that would be friggin awesome! If there was the amount of mods for RDR that Fallout New Vegas has I would be in heaven I think. Even said that while playing this game "This would be amazing with soem user made missions, weapons,etc.." :P

My bet is this year there is an announcement for RDR to come to PC.. just like what happened with GTA IV (didnt pc get it way later?).

RDR is a great game, glad I got it... best rockstar game imo, but still wasn't my personal fav of this year.

But if you are a huge fan of westerns like I am.. its a good time doing the campaign with a little whiskey in your cup ;)

Ohh yeah.. and if it does come to pc... do yourself a favor and watch DEADWOOD and THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY a few days before it comes out and grab a bottle of whiskey to go with it, added to the atmosphere I swear :P

GTA IV on PC unmoded is about five times better than the console version. Modded it's a different world. I would like RDR on pC please.

I completed RDR on the 360, but I would buy it again if it came out on the PC.

You may not have had a lot of problems, but that game was absolutely horrendous on the technical side. Don't get me wrong, I highly enjoyed the game when I played throught it on his 360, but when I got the PC version, I was baffled at how poorly it was coded. I thought it was just my computer, but I had people telling me the same things were happening to them with really good computers.

I'd be galdly to rebuy it if they port it, so I will be able to take screenshots with my 480SLI, cuz I know for fact that steam will sale it for $4.99 some day on special, that's how I got my GTA4 PC :D

OMGZ OMGZ OMGZ you know what this means, you know what is going on ? What is going on is someone else went to yahoo answers and posted the information on Rockstars news site, THAT IS ALL. I mean come on here lets stop the flight of fantasy just for a minute. In that very thread you posted Rockstar stated :-

Manhunt 2 was announced for pc only ONE week before the release of pc version. GTA4 was announced for pc in agust and it was released in october (so annoucmnent of pc version was 2 months before the release). I am sure the same will happen for RDR.

Also, i just searched yahooanswers to find when the next episode of Scooby doo Mystery incoporated series will be aired. they say it will be aired in Jan 3 2011 2 days from now. if it is true and the next episode realy airs in 2 days.. then we can bee 100 sure about pc version of RDR too! But if Scooby doo next episode is not aired in 2 days then that wil mean that they lie !

Erm no it wasn't, GTA 4 was announced at the beginning of August (16th) and released in December. I believe you are thinking of the console versions they were launched in October but the PC version was released in December. So we are talking nearly 4 months between announcement and release at least. So far you haven't even got an announcement you have some dude on yahoo answers posting a rumour from a blog of a guy that is known for posting ill fated rumours.

I know there is no point in trying to reason with you, anyone that would actually believe what they read on yahoo answers has left "logic" and "common sense" behind. Keep thinking March will see RDR on the PC if it makes you happy but don't too surprised when it doesn't happen.
