Those specs are reasonable. I'm going to have to wait and see if I want to buy this game. I hear it's being ported by a third party that has a history at sucking at ports.
Does that really matter to you? The point is, he was providing the info to people that didn't know. People like me. Thanks TC, I was going to pick it up on a console, but I may wait for the PC release.old new this was on yougamers bout a week ago.

Is that a joke?Thats a horrible release date. No one is gonna pick this up over Resident Evil 5.

i thought the demo was pretty fun.Played the console version of this at a friends and it was not all that great.

[QUOTE="kozzy1234"]I second that...but maybe it's due to the controls. With M&K it might be a bit more fun.Played the console version of this at a friends and it was not all that great.

I also played the console version and loved it... I can see it being 10x better with higher-res gfx and M/K controls. Its a really underappreciated game, and I hope it finds an audience on PC. I would love to see the mods that could be done with that engine.

i think it will be FARRR better as fps and not that stupid gears of war camera. Can't get too excited about this. The first two games were pretty mediocre. I've seen the destructive level geometry in this game. Its pretty iimpressive but I dont know if it would be enough to sustain the entire game. biggest_loseri loved them both, why you didnt like the first it was very distracitve and very similar to half life, the second is just action.

Same here, played the demo a while back. There's no question, the destruction was very cool! If I've got the spare simoleons at the time it might be worth picking up, however, it's certainly not at the top of my list.
I think I'd like it a bit better with m+kb, but if I remember right the game/demo felt a bit "manic" for me. For a sandbox shooter, I'd like the opportunity to mix a bit more strategy in.
Otherwise reasonable requirements, but what's up with the huge CPU recommendations these days. 3.2Ghz core 2 duo, isn't that like E8600? Those things cost a fortune.
Edit
Wait, are these the guys that made Saints Row 2... I just lost all interest and threw up in my mouth a bit. I wouldn't trust them to port Tetris to PC let alone this.
The people porting this game to PC are the same ones that did Saint's Row 2... expect the game to run really really badly!
It's also a third part doing the port. They probably don't understand the extensive physics coding as well as the actual developer. I'm kinda expecting a poor port because of these requirements.reasonable enough. A bit high on the processor though ( i guess are the physics )

[QUOTE="Muhannad_basic"]Is that a joke? Id much rather take my risks with Capcom rather then this other company who ported Saints Row 2...And I also want to play RE5 really bad considering im a fan of 4.Thats a horrible release date. No one is gonna pick this up over Resident Evil 5.

It's really an awesome game. The strategy generally comes in the setup.. once the fight begins, you're always horribly outgunned and outnumbered, so it's a matter of doing the damage you need to do ASAP and getting out... oddly enough, fighting more like a guerrilla, as the game's title implies. :D Once you approach every battle like that, the game comes into its own.Well pretty nice required specs but my specs overkill it :D
Intel Core i7 4,0ghz
3gb ram DDR3 2000mhz
Windows Vista 32-bit
Nvidia Geforce 260gtx 216 core version (Overclocked 60%)
HDD 2 Terabytes (1000gb x2 RAID 0)
PS! Getting Nvidia Geforce Evga gtx 295 3 way sli soon :)
I bet they really meant a 3.2 GHz Pentium D, as that is equal to the 360's Xenon, at least according to Capcom. A 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo would beat even a 4.0 GHz Pentium D assuming the Pentium D could sustain such high clocks. Though the 128 MB VRAM card in the 7600/X1300 class is a welcome change from all the crappy graphics optimization in multiplatform games you see these days. *cough*cough* GHOSTBUSTERS *cough*cough*. I'm interested to see how CPUs deal with Red Faction Gorilla. Just wish they would've had the decency to release it at the same time as the console versions, but here's to hoping for possibly better graphics at max settings, and not just higher screen resolutions, texture filtering, and anti-aliasing options were already expect. But then again, I wouldn't be too hopeful.Cpu intensive. 256mb only recommended, but 3.2 Ghz core duo

Yeah, interesting. Sounds like you (Makari) are endorsing based on the complete game rather than just the demo, which is all I have played, once. Very cool, and good to hear! I'll notch this up a bit on the "to-get" list for the PC version ;)

Yeah, I didn't really like the demo all that much. It is pretty chaotic - in my experience on the 360 demo, I basically started walking around and found myself being shot at, and from there it was more or less a straight battle for the rest of the demo. In the full game it's pretty easy to avoid pissing off the EDF, and most of the battles open on my terms when I slam a dump truck full of explosives into the side of a building. There's also a couple mission types in the full game that you don't see in the demo that I liked - there's one where they show you the location of a convoy of vehicles and the path it'll take, and you have to destroy/stop them. That one's fun, as you can take your time setting up a big trap to try to take them all out in one glorious ambush (though if the trap doesn't work you're boned, as the vehicles will take off at full speed and you're on foot). If I get time later on, I might record a clip of the game or something with my camera off-screen so you can see how most of it works. Please Log In to post.
