The thing i don't understand is, how this game can run flawless on an X-Box that have 3.2 GHz tri-core cpu and fails on a decent pc cpu?murekkepBecause the xbox is a set stand no hardware differences across the board, the PC on the other hand they have to scale for people that might not have the recommended specs and in any case if it is a port from a console it is usually slapped together with glue and duct tape to make it work.
With that system everything has to run extremely well, what about arma 2 and gta iv..... i am trying to make a comparison.3.4 Ghz Phenom 2 Quad, GTS 250, and 4 Gb Ram. Running the game at 1440x900, with all settings maxed and 4x anti-aliasing. I'm getting around 50/60 fps throughout, no dips whatsoever. It seems to be a really good port, if that's what you are asking...

i thought it looked turd on the 360, really put me off it but i bought it because i was bored and tired of waitin for batman
q6600, 4gb ram, gtx 295 at 1280 x 1024, max graphic settings 8xaa guestimate about 50-60 fps, even during huge demolitions and stuff its butter smooth. 16xaa dips framerate a bit during major explosions
I heard it was very well optimized for quad-cores.I think a quad core CPU really helps in this game.

I max both, with view distance on Arma 2 set to 5,000. I would say I get about 40-50 fps on campaign. GTA IV I max most everything but texture res and view distance which are limited for not apparent reason, and get 60 fps 95% of the time. All running at 1440x900, of course.
