so i preordered this with a set release date and now i cant play it when it comes out cause it sdelayed and i am going away for years. since i know steam wont give me a refund for this crap looks like i am going to the better buisness bureau. thanks tripwire...

Errr... You can get a refund.

And why on earth are you buying anything if you're "going away" for years... To play the game for a few days? The beta has not been delayed, you can still play that if you preordered DDE.

rather play it some than not at all...and im getting deployed overseas. so a few days of video games compared to months of bullets flying passed you for real is a blessing.;)

It just means I can pre-order a physical LCE and have it shipped to my apartment on campus. I would have been out of the country on August 30th.

Thats basically what it is thoe. Its not going to have missions designed for its campaign, its going to be just the multiplayer maps with bots. Its going to have an intro and outro to each mission(just like in Brink.) and it will have objectives you must try to complete(just like in Brink...) Its not going to have any sort of story or characters like a real campaign would.
