My current hard drive is all messed up and I just decided to start fresh. Is it possible to just buy a new hard drive and install windows on thta blank hard drive?

Alright thats good. What kind if hard drive should I aim for using, I read somewhere that it's not good just to use any hard drive. BTW, would adding 1 gb of ram to already 2 gb of ram make much of an improvement? Thanks

2GB is all you really need. Right now you wouldn't see any difference with 3Gb unless you are opening lots and lots of programs at a time. When you say your drive is messed up what do you mean? maybe you can format it and reinstall Windows. If not just get a good brand hard drive like seagate or western digital etc.
