I actually think that would be one of the best RTS games evar made.......an unoriginal idea maybe, but not all breakout successful games were entirely original.

Firstly, I wasn't looking to pick up marks for originality. Why do you think they're making the mod? Because it's a great idea. Secondly, the mod will probably die. The chances of it actually being a polished and professional-looking game are slim.

I understand that there is a devoted group of fans and they highly praise this game, so naturally, it must be good in some way, shape or form? I'm more than willing to give this third installment a chance. I might even check out the older ones.
great news. but really, i would rather Relic venture into new genre instead of playing safe like Blizzard.
also, to the TC, it's really nothing surprising with the lukewarm response of this thread. in reality, both Homeworld games, although critically acclaimed, didn't sell very well.
