Each year it is less and less. This year....... Conan, Warhammer, Stargate........ wow expansion does not count. Next year. There's nothing. Even the EB Game stores are stopping their inventory of pc games in their stores.

It's a cycle. Some years will have a lot of releases in certain genres and then little to none in the follow year or two. It will cycle around and you will see more coming your way.

As for EB dropping it's PC Games inventory, in Canada they aren't removing it due to customers complaining they they moved their PC games from a wall spot to a crammed book shelf in the corner of the room, so I can't see them axing the whole PC area.

I usually buy my PC games at Best Buy. They always have the new games in stock, plus some of the "older" games. Plus I like Reward Zone :PWhen I worked at GameStop a couple of years ago, all the PC games were on the wall. Now they're on the floor on a shelving unit. WTH?

Isn't it because people keep pirating the games? thats why they are stopping the production of PC based games?

I don't think that piracy affects MMORPGs. In fact, these games are cash cows for some companies like blizzard.

PC games are being released all of the time. Can't see them stop releasing MMOs or removing PC games from EB due to piracy.

I purchase games online as well but you can't find everything online and I hate ordering anything that requires to be shipped to my door. Also, I enjoy walking to the store, looking at the wall of games and selecting what I want. Plus, it keeps local merchants in business, so it helps the economy.

i think the main reason is they're gettin the most money out of the Wii and X360 and other console games...people have been overlooking the PC since the new generation of consoles has been glorified so much

i have the same issues at the GameStop i usually go to for games...the wall where they used to be is covered with X360 and PS2 games, and now they're crammed on two small shelves...the selection is far worse than it used to be as well
