The budget for the PC is £800 (just the core). In addition, a monitor with a budget of £200.

This cost 733 pounds if you include vat.

It's a strong system and you can sli later on if you wish. I selected the parts from http://scan.co.uk

gotta say VAT suks major balls. I would buy some stuff used if possible like off craigslist or whatever local ads they have there.

Pre built, £10 over budget though. Pre built cost more money than a self build but this comes overclocked and guaranteed it also has plenty of scope for upgrading in the future.

Good suggestions, however still interested in more. If suggestions could be made focusing more on the motherboard, CPU, and graphics card combo. Today is the last day until order so quick responses are greatly appreciated.

that system doesn't come with an operating system though. Do you need to buy one or not?
