A lot of those items are a lot cheaper on newegg. Here's what I would go with...

GPU: HD4870 ($194.99, $174.99 after MIR) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161236

Ram: G.Skill 4gb ddr2 800 ($49.99) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231148

CPU: Q6600 ($194.99) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115017

Mobo: P5Q ($118.99) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131295

HD: WD 640gb 7200rpm 32mb cache ($79.99) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136319

PSU: Corsair 550w ($89.99, $69.99 after MIR) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139004

DVD: Asus 22x dvd ($27.99) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135186

Case: Cooler Master RC-690 ($79.99) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119137

Total: $836.92 without shipping or MIR.

Tigerdirect seemed to overprice a lot of their items. I tried to keep some of the same components, like the mobo and cpu, and as you can see, they're a lot cheaper on newegg. Also, that psu, dvd drive, and hdd you had were waay overpriced.

Agreed. Also, I would go with the Corsair TX 750W PSU unless you have to get modular, it's cheaper and better as far as I know

Budget rige, lol it out classes my expensive rig.

Anyway the original is good though you could save on special deals else where.

Try going for some DDR2 1066 to make the Quad more efficient.

Its an ok list but for the price of the q6600 i would recommended a newer quad core ( the q6600 is already 2 years old although is still performs quite well) like the Q9450 or 9550
