Nice. And as one would expect from looking at the gap between sfiv's benchmark and its release, Re5's right around the corner also.

It won't let me go higher than 1024x768, but even at that resolution it's impressive looking at the highest details, 4xAA on and running at an average 70FPS. The game does look a bit lame, though.

I just ran it. 47.3 and 50.6 FPS at 1900x1200 with max AA. I've never played a resident evil before but I must say, watching this sure did not make me want to play it, looked so dull, I don't think I'm much for *having* to stand still to shoot.

Using i7 920, gtx 285, 6g ddr3 1333mhz.

The PC port of RE4 was horrible. It was handed off to what is probably a third-rate developer. The console versions are excellent, however, with the Wii and GC versions looking and controlling best, and the Wii and PS2 versions having more content. The PC version has all that content (and a bit more, I guess), but it was just handled horribly. This isn't a reflection on the game, which is excellent, but on Capcom and the developer that ported the game to PC. Looks like they're handling the PC ports of DMC4 and RE5 responsibly, however, which is great.

Its just a question of adapting.

I completed RE4 on the pc, with keyboard only, on normal and hard difficulty.

I really need a new processor. I know that's what got me my crappy fixed benchmark score.

Well Graphics are pretty ok, but yea the Gameplay is pretty bad and its not scary at all, I would rather play Dead Space.

For everyone talking down on RE5, its actually pretty fun. And ALOT better then RE4.

Good to see capcom makign good ports now (street Fighter and now this). Because we have seen soem horrid ports at times.

i personally thought RE5 was great, but the first 2 levels were boring then it became obvious in the later levels that the devs started to take their work seriously

The graphics are pretty damn sweet, if you ask me, but the game doesn't look all that great. I'll probably still try it out when it comes.
