Resident Evil 5 or Witcher EE

Which one should I get first? Yes they're two completely different type of games which I'll buy both eventually but I can only get one now. I played the Witcher demo some time ago and I liked it. Resident Evil 5 came out today and it looks really good from all the gameplay videos I have watched. So help me decide folks, what is your opinion:question::D

For me it isn't even a contest, Witcher hands down.

It is, they're both actually the same price - £18.

Resident Evil 5 is an amazing program if you've got the juice to run it. Run the benchmark, and if your frames are good then don't hesitate to buy it. And by the way, right now is a horrible time to buy The Witcher. It will soon be in the bargain bin for ten dollars. Just wait a little longer. Even this Monday it might be part of the D2D sale that's happening and you might be able to buy it for $5.

But the better game, by a country mile, is Resident Evil 5.

I have to reject your opinion noble sir, The Witcher is a better game by a nautical mile, RE5 did not live up to its' predecessors I feel.

The Witcher, much deeper longer and varied game.

Those two games are totally different, so the choice depends only on your personal preferences.

Personally I've never liked zombie games so I would choose the Witcher or any other RPG over Resident Evil 5.

Witcher by far.

RE plays just like a zombie expansion pack for Gears of War ( its also beatable in about 5 hours ). Probably the most dissapointing title in years.

O.P. you might want to take into consideration that most of the people who are saying The Witcher, have not played the PC version of Resident Evil 5.

I've been monitoring this board for some time now, and I've been keeping on eye on the activities of these individuals, and I've gotten to know how many of them think, and what they're up to, and most of them just haven't played RE5. They haven't.

Thank god I was here to answer the question for you. Resident Evil 5 is more modern, more engaging, and way more fun. Also, you might want to re-read this thread. Certain individuals clearly posted twice, which has got to be a violation of the rules.

Played both thoroughly, I'd say the Witcher is the best choice. Just because of the longevity.

Wow, I can't believe how many people are saying The Witcher. Well there's your answer I guess. But I would urge you to wait just a little longer. This game should be on sale soon enough. Wait for a Steam sale. Or at least wait until Monday.

You know about the D2D sales for $5 don't you? Well this Monday (two days from now) it's RPG and MMO day. Maybe The Witcher will be on sale for $5. Okay, then it's a no-brainer.
