I believe Resident Evil 4 was announced for the pc, is this true?

If this is true I would also like to say that Resident Evil 5 should also be on the pc. Does anyone else agree?

RE4 came out for PC few months ago. (maybe it was only for Europe though, or maybe it was just

leaked copy floating online).

It's out in Europe for a couple of months now, but stay away from it!

Get it on GameCube!

yeah, one review I read gave only one positive aspect of the game "nobody forces you to play it".

Seriously now, RE4 is an amazing game, but not on PC (bad controls and stuff). You'd best get it on Gamecube or, even better, on PS2 (where the game has an amazing amount of extra missions)

If you have a logitech controler for the PC then Resident Evil 4 will work nicely... Otherwise, gamecube or PS2 versions are the way to go. Even better get the Wii edition :)

RE4 is already out for pc (i think in Europe and Asia only) but the port is horrible, no mouse

support and graphics look like from a 1996 game

Two days ago came a patch for the european version which should fix most of the graphics issues

but dont know anything bout it

there is a program called Xpadder that will make any game work with a gamepad.

I personally prefer the keyboard and mouse:)

RE4 for PC is rather good in my opinion, tere a patch out for it now that improves the games graphics (better textures and light mapping) and even though it's still a console port and will never look as good as some PC games, it's a great game if you are a fan of RE...

I'm playing through it the second time now (finished some of the unlocked game modes as well) and it's just a great deal of fun...

RE5 will more than likely come to PC as well, but only after the console version is out (like RE4 did). The RE fans will attack Capcom if it's released for PC at the same time... they are allready upset about the new Devil May Cry going to the XBox360 as well and not just the PS3.... that's what my quote below refers to:)

This (see below) is what one of Capcom's staff said eventually on the official forum after fans spent several days complaining about the above...

I have played the RE4 PC official, complete game; the graphic is actually very good when everything max-out -- far better than games like GTA: SA. The cut scene cinematics is bad looking since they didn't redo it for PC version (the same as Jade Empire; Marvel Ultimate Alliance is a rare case, whose cinematics look quite good). Yet, I didn't go very far into the game since it's very difficult to use simply keyboard and mouse to do it. Then it reminds me of PC version of RE: Nemesis -- I didn't finish the game either because of the exact same reason... RE games' control is simply natively console, it's at this point that I don't like them on PC (I won't bother to get gamepad or something for games, I just go for native PC games^^ or games like X-Men Legend and Marvel Ultiamte Alliance which play very smoothly with keyboard and mouse)
