resolution not supported

i have the beta for starcraft2 but when i start the game it chrashes my computer and it restarts, i think its because my computer doesnt support the resolution the game starts out with (i think its 1600x1200) so im asking how to change the resolution of the game without starting it, i couldnt find an .ini or a conf file anywhere i've been on google for about 30mins and still nothing, everybody says to find the .ini so do you guys where the file is located or do you know of a better way to change the resolution without starting the game??

Try going to
C:UsersuserNameDocumentsStarCraft II Betavariables.txt
where userName = your base user folder name that holds all your stuff like docs, music, etc

The values you need to change are under height and width I think

width=1680
windowheight=768
windowstate=1
windowwidth=1024
windowx=605
windowy=143
winkeydisabled=1
